Mission:
The mission of the Wisconsin Friends of John Muir is to preserve the spirit and legacy of John Muir, the landscapes of his boyhood, and the park that is dedicated in his honor.
Vision:
Our vision is to promote the legacy of the great naturalist and his beliefs that:
There is an intrinsic, spiritual value and beauty in nature.
All things are interconnected.
We have individual responsibility for the stewardship and preservation of the natural world.
We accomplish this through education, land/resource management and preservation, acquisition, research, and securing the resources to support these activities.
